One thing I love about having Mondays off is that the rest of the world is back at work, and I'm free to explore in the quiet, more mellow weekday. I've had Mondays off for 2 years, and it always feels like a treat to sleep in, browse around shops in town, check out parks and just take my time. I stole away for a quick outing with Mike today. It was a beautiful sunny day, and we had fun walking through Ballard, ducking into little shops, and ending at Golden Gardens for some Vitamin D. Winter here is so mild and beautiful.
